PUBLIC PROFILE

Accessible Features that assist the Blind, or Visually Impaired, include Building Regulations. These are regulations, which have been introduced by mostly the Government, to make places like public buildings, shopping centres, city streets, shops and restrooms more accessible to people with disabilities, including the Blind. These Building Regulations are mainly there to help the  Mobility Impaired, especially those in wheelchairs, but some of these also help the Blind, or Visually Impaired and some regulations are made specifically for the Blind.

For people with disabilities accessibility and safety are primary issues & the disability rights movement is there to secure equal opportunities and equal rights for people with disabilities.
