Our people
Nomsa Deborah Mofokeng. Founder and Managing Director, Gejile SA.
Nomsa was born in Soweto, and after matriculating, she focused on Early Child Development, Counselling, Marketing and Advertising.
Her further studies included:
Play based learning with the LEGO foundation, ECD with Cortlands and UNICEF level 5.
Grade R Basic Education Foundation face 2018, Counselling Sohaca
Founder of Shalom Midway and Pre Primary School in 2013, giving free Early Child Development, to the vulnerable children and child-headed families, while also give counselling.
Nomsa has worked for Bidvest Waltons, Hortors Legal Diaries, Zinto Marketing and Advertising, Sorbet Salon and Ikageng Itireleng Aids Ministry.
"I am currently a founder and a director of a project called GEJILE of which is a film company beginners, and our first project is a docu-series of my son's life story, who went through so many life challenges to face as a young boy".
Nomsa is the voice for her son and other kids with mental illness, she also worked with I Learn in creating a pilot (trailer) that is also helping mothers and communities that has the same challenges as hers, She also received Support from NAFCOC and the Soweto Chamber of Business Commerce, in fundraising.
