What is the financial benefit for an FGO to create a profile on AfrangO?
- Creating a profile on AfrangO is free for FGOs.
- AfrangO presents the opportunity to create an additional source of income for a FGO, as affiliate and direct marketing on the platform is possible.
- Working with other FGOs on the platform to submit joint-funding proposals and attract funding is much easier when relationships exist and trust between the parties involved. (The first joint funding proposal of this type will be submitted by AfrangO soon.)
- We are deploying a hybrid funding model, focussing on CSI (Corporate Social Investment) funding, along with DFI (Development Finance Institutions) funding and Philanthropic, Individuals and Foundations, to sponsor FGOs for their profiles, and to generate an income for AfrangO.
- Information and resources on creating financial sustainability for FGOs are shared on the platform including books, articles, videos and blogs dealing with a variety of funding models.
- Knowledge sharing and community interaction across the platform is encouraged, so tips and advice from fundraisers in the field can be tapped into.
- Good governance, environmental sustainability, and respect for human dignity are focal, in order to ensure FGO financial sustainability considerations are kept in balance.
